An input image data set
Primary output is a CATALOG data set described in help. Secondary output is an image of size equal to the input with a DN=255 area for each object found. Third output is the flag buffer containing the object IDs of all objects found during its search before rejection criteria are applied. Thus, it contains real and suspected objects.
The standard Vicar size field. Restricts the search area. Default; (1,1,0,0) - Full size of input image.
Starting line of search area. Default; 1
Starting sample of search area. Default; 1
Number of lines of search area. Default; NL of input image
Number of samples of search area. Default; NS of input image
KEYWORD-OPTIONAL Prints out catalog information for each object found on the terminal and the session log.
INTEGER-OPTIONAL Specifies maximum input DN in the input image. The saturation value. 32,767 for halfword images. 2,147,483,647 for fullword images. Default; MAXD=255.
INTEGER-OPTIONAL
INTEGER-OPTIONAL
KEYWORD-OPTIONAL Computes a global threshold value. If set to AUTO=AUTO, ignores THRE and uses SENS parameter.
REAL-OPTIONAL Number of sigma to add to the mean to get the autothreshold Ignored if AUTO=NOAUTO. Default; SENS=1.0
INTEGER-OPTIONAL Specifies the DN in input image at and above which pixels are considered real events. All DNs below THRE are ignored. By default this will be the lowest integer value for the data format type, 0 for BYTE image, -32768 for HALF image, and -2,147,483,648 for FULL image. Note: THRE is compared to data after either the BACK Ignored if AUTO=AUTO. Default: THRE=--
INTEGER-OPTIONAL
Specifies the true zero intensity level in DNs of the
input image. BACK is subtracted from each object DN.
Object intensities are
computed as: I=SUM(DN -BACK )
ij INij
Default; BACK=0.
INTEGER-OPTIONAL Specifies the least number of pixels which an object can contain and still be considered a real object. All objects with less than MINP pixels are marked in optional output data set but are not entered in the Catalog. Default; MINP=4.
INTEGER-OPTIONAL Specifies the maximum number of pixels that an object may contain and still be placed in the catalog. Default; MAXP=Infinity (2,147,483,647).
REAL-OPTIONAL Ignore objects whose sums of DNs are less than this value Default; MINI=-Infinity. (-2,147,483,648)
REAL-OPTIONAL Ignore objects whose sums of DNs are greater than this value. Default; MAXI=Infinity (2,147,483,647).
INTEGER-OPTIONAL Specifies the minimun number of lines that an object may span and be placed in the catalog. Default; MINL=2.
INTEGER-OPTIONAL Specifies the maximum number of lines that an object may span and be placed in the catalog. Default; MAXL=Infinity (1,000,000).
INTEGER-OPTIONAL Specifies the minimun number of samples that an object may span and be placed in the catalog. Default; MINS=2.
INTEGER-OPTIONAL Specifies the maximum number of samples that an object may span and be placed in the catalog. Default; MAXS=Infinity (1,000,000).
KEYWORD-OPTIONAL The Asteroid keyword causes the following 6 keywords to be activated. These are: SAOMINP,ASTMINP,SAORATIO,ASTRATIO,ASTMAXW,ASTMAXL VALID=(ASTEROID,NOAST) DEFAULT; NOAST
INTEGER-OPTIONAL Candidate STARCAT SAO stars must have at least SAOMINP pixels.
INTEGER-OPTIONAL Candidate STARCAT asteroids must have at least ASTMINP pixels.
REAL-OPTIONAL Candidate STARCAT SAO stars must have at least a narrow axis to wide axis ratio of SAORATIO.
REAL-OPTIONAL Candidate STARCAT asteroids must have less than a narrow axis to wide axis ratio of ASTRATIO.
REAL-OPTIONAL The maximum allowed width for an object to be considered an asteroid candidate in the STARCAT catalogue.
REAL-OPTIONAL The maximum allowed length for an object to be considered an asteroid candidate in the STARCAT catalogue.
