  A Viking Orbiter image file is input

  A file to write the processed product into

 SIZE=(sl,sb,nl,nb)
  The standard size field defining the area of the input picture 

SL=sl
  Starting line of the area to be processed.

 SS=ss
  Starting sample of the area to be processed

NL=nl
  Number of lines in the area to be processed.

NS=ns
  Number of samples in the area to be processed.

HALF indicates that the input and output files are in halfword format. 
The default is to read the input image label to obtain the format. 

BYTE indicates that the input and output files are in byte format.
The default is to read the input image label to obtain the format. 

 AREA=(sl1,sb1,nl1,nb1,...,slk,sbk,nlk,nbk)
  AREA specifes the starting line, starting sample, number of samples,
and number of lines to be eliminated. The number of values following
 AREA must be a multiple of 4. 

CAMERA=integer
 CAMERA specifies the camera serial number of the input image. The
default is to obtain CAMERA from the label. 

SN=integer 
 SN specifies the camera serial number of the input image. The
default is to obtain SN from the label.
